Shocking Doping Scandals
The media had been flooded with news on Lance Armstrong (cyclist) on his doping accusations and it was found that he used erythropoietin and human growth hormone. Armstrong also had an interview on the Oprah Winfrey Network where he confessed to have used banned performance-enhancing drugs throughout much of his cycling career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thyFmxusB9E&noredirect=1
The Jamaican sprinters Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson also surprised the sporting industry when they tested positive for a drug test. The sprint sensations face lengthy bans as they tested positive for oxilofrine at the Jamaican National Championships.
Doping gives an unfair advantage to thoes who make use of it hence it is illgal amongst sports organazations bt how ever people will still u use it even if its bad for them
ReplyDeletePrince you absolutely correct that is why doping should be banned from any sporting activities
ReplyDeleteThis is not fair on other competitors who choose to be ethical. Sports people who take drugs should be banned and fined, at least that will make them realise the disadvantages of doping.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with that statement saying the doping athletes should be banned and fined as it will be an example for the others
ReplyDeleteThis is a bad spectacle for all sporting codes in the world. The skepticism around professional sport will surely grow from the recent events of Armstrong and Powell testing positive for doping.
